How to disable the startup applications for good

• Open "Run" (located in the start menu for win xp and for win 7 type "Run" in the search bar)
• Now when the Run is opened type 'msconfig' and Press OK.
• A new window will be opened . Go to the startup tab.

• There you will see the applications that run at the starting of your window. 
• Now disable those apps whch you don't want to be displayed on the startup. Try not to disable your antivirus(It's upto You)
• After that click on the APPLY button and then press OK.
• A new window will be displayed asking to restart the computer. do as you want .And then you are done.This task will quickly load your screen at the startup.
